Yunyang District, formerly known as Yunxian County, belongs to Shiyan City, Hubei Province. On September 9, 2014, the State Council of China officially approved the cancellation of Yun county and the establishment of Yunyang District of Shiyan City. The former administrative region of Yun county is the administrative region of Yunyang district. The people's Government of Yunyang district is located at No. 1 Jinsha Road, Chengguan town. On December 17, 2014, Yunxian County was officially withdrawn and renamed Yunyang district. As of September 2014, Yunyang district has jurisdiction over 16 towns, 5 townships, 1 forest farm and 1 Economic Development Zone.
Yunyang district spans 32 ° 25 ′ n to 33 ° 16 ′ N and 110 ° 07 ′ e to 111 ° 16 ′ E. It is 92 kilometers wide from north to South and 108 kilometers long from east to west. It is wide at both ends and narrow in the middle. It is shaped like a goldfish and covers a total area of 3863 square kilometers.
As of 2013, the forest area is 1.8692 million mu, the forest coverage rate is 32.3%, and the forest reserves are 1.57 million cubic meters. Cultivated land area of 600000 mu, production of papaya, citrus, etc. The cultural relics and historic sites in Yunyang District include Meipu ape man site, Ancheng ancient copper mine site, hanjiazhou site, qinglongquan site, Dacheng Hall of Yunyang University palace, etc. at the same time, celebrities such as Yang Xianzhen, Li Hongbo, Mei Jie, Zhang Youyun and so on have also come out.
In 2016, the region's GDP reached 10.069 billion yuan. At comparable prices, it was 8.4% higher than the previous year. Among them: the added value of the primary industry is 2228.06 million yuan; the added value of the secondary industry is 4008.09 million yuan; the added value of the tertiary industry is 3833.24 million yuan.
In 2016, the per capita GDP reached 17727 yuan according to the resident population. The general budget revenue was 812.2 million yuan. The output value of industries above Designated Size reached 21.4 billion yuan.
On September 25, 2018, it won the honorary title of "2018 e-commerce into rural comprehensive demonstration county" of the Ministry of Commerce. In April 2020, with the approval of the people's Government of Hubei Province, it will withdraw from the sequence of poverty-stricken counties.
Historical evolution
Yun county is located in the north of Shiyan City, surrounded by Shiyan City on three sides, with an area of 3863 square kilometers and a population of 630000. The administrative relationship between the former Yunxian County and Shiyan has experienced three stages: Shiyan was subordinate to Yunxian County (1476-1967), Shiyan was separated from Yunxian County (1967-1994), and Shiyan was under the jurisdiction of Yunxian County. During this period, no matter how the subordinate relationship changes, the long-standing geographical affiliation, business relationship and blood relationship between the former Yunxian County and Shiyan have not been separated.
Yunben Township name, set on the township, said "Yunguan.". Yunxian County is named after "Yunguan" in "Changli" of Han River.
In summer, Yunxian was the western region of Yuzhou.
During the Shang Dynasty, King Wu conquered Zhou and united with Yong, Lu, PU, Shu, Qiang, Mao, Wei and Peng. In the southwest of Yunxian County, there is Zhuhe River, which is called "Yongshui" in ancient times and is under the jurisdiction of Yongguo.
The Western Zhou Dynasty was the territory of Zhou Dynasty. In the spring and Autumn period, Chu Zi attacked the state of special, and as for Xixue (now the place under the jurisdiction of Wufeng), it was the hometown of the state of special. After the Chu division destroyed the state of Wei and the state of Jiao, the situation of Yun County belonged to Qin.
After the unification of the six states, Qin was attached to Hanzhong County of Yizhou. Because of the Qin system in Han Dynasty, tin belongs to Hanzhong County of Yizhou, and Changli County is located in Yun county.
In the Western Han Dynasty, there was a "Yun pass" in Changli, which belonged to Hanzhong county together with Xi. In the sixth year of Jianwu (30 years) of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Changli was incorporated into Xi county and still belonged to Hanzhong county.
During the Three Kingdoms period, Yun County belonged to Weixing county. Wei in Xili duyang county (now 25 kilometers west of hanjiazhou county). In 283, the fourth year of Taikang in Jin Dynasty, Xi county recovered from Changli County in Han Dynasty. In the fifth year of Taikang (284), Changli County was changed into Yunxiang County, which belongs to Weixing county. Yunxiang County of Weixing county is subordinate to Jingzhou.
In the Southern Dynasties, Yunxiang County belonged to Weixing County of Liangzhou. In Qi Dynasty, it was divided into Weixing County, Shangyong County in the East, Qixing County in the north and Qixing County in Yunxiang county. It was ruled by Qixing county and led by six counties. In the county, it was Qixing county and Yunxiang County, belonging to Liangzhou. In the first year of Liang Taiqing (547), it was set up in Qixing County of Liangzhou, changed Qixing county to nanshiping County, and later changed to Qixing county. Xingzhou was led by Yun Township and Qixing County in Qixing county. Guangfu county is owned by Guangfu county. Guangfu should be divided into Qixing county and Yunxiang County into Xingzhou and Qixing county. Yunzhou also home, led by the county no test. Guangfu county was abolished in Sui Dynasty and changed into Anfu county, which belongs to Xiyang County of Yuzhou with Yunxiang county.
In 618, the first year of Wude in Tang Dynasty, Nanfeng Prefecture was set up, leading Yun Township, Anfu county and duyang county. Duyang should be divided into Yunxiang county (in today's Yunxian County), and Yunxiang County into Changli County (in today's Yunxi county). In the eighth year of Wude (625), Nanfeng Prefecture was abolished, and Yunxiang, duyang and Anfu belonged to Junzhou. In the second year of Tang Zhenguan (628), the two counties of duyang and Anfu entered Yun Township, and the governor Li entered Yun Township, abolishing Junzhou, and Yun Township belonged to Xizhou. In 634, Xizhou was abolished and Junzhou was restored. Yunxiang county belongs to Junzhou. In the first year of Tang Tianbao (742), Junzhou was changed into Wudang county. In the first year of Tang Dynasty (758), it was restored to Junzhou and attached to the South East Road.
In Song Dynasty, Yunxiang county still belonged to Wudang County of Junzhou and was subordinate to Southwest Road of Beijing. At the end of Song Dynasty, Shangjin County entered Yunxiang county.
In 1277, Yunxiang county was changed into Yunxian County, belonging to Junzhou.
In 1368, the first year of Hongwu, Emperor Taizu of Ming Dynasty, Shangjin county was restored. In the 12th year of Chenghua (1476), Yunyang Prefecture was set up in Yunyang City, and Yunxi county (the hometown of Changli County in Tang Dynasty) was set up in the South Gate of Yunxian County. As a result, the territory of Yun county and the other five counties were combined into Yunyang Prefecture, belonging to Huguang Prefecture.
In the third year of Emperor Kangxi (1664) of the Qing Dynasty, it was divided into Huguang buzhengsi and Hubei buzhengsi. Yunxian belonged to Hubei buzhengsi until the end of the Qing Dynasty.
During the period of the Republic of China, Yunxian County was subordinate to Yunyang Prefecture, Xiangyang Road, Hubei Province, and the office of the 11th administrative inspector general of Hubei Province. In 1934, it was transferred to the office of the eighth administrative inspector general of Hubei Province. On December 30, 1947, Yunxian city was liberated. At that time, it belonged to the fourth special office of Henan, Shaanxi and Hubei.
In March 1950, it was established in Hubei Province and subordinate to the office of Yunyang Commissioner of Hubei Province. In December 1952, Yunyang and Xiangyang special offices were merged, and Yunxian County was under the jurisdiction of Xiangyang special office. In June 1965, the State Council approved the restoration of the administrative office system of Yunyang District, and Yunxian County returned to Yunyang special office. On September 29, 1994, the State Council approved the merger of Yunyang district administrative office and Shiyan City of Hubei Province to implement the city county system. Yun county is under the jurisdiction of Shiyan City.
In May 1996, Bailang and Tanshan withdrew their townships and established towns. After the adjustment, Yun County governs 14 towns and 12 townships: Chengguan Town, Anyang Town, Bailang Town, Baoxia Town, Chadian Town, hujiaying Town, Liudong Town, Liupi Town, Meipu Town, Nanhuatang Town, Qingqu Town, yangxipu Town, Tanshan Town, Ancheng Town, Daliu Town, Dayan Town, Donghe Town, Gaomiao Town, Guihua Town, Huangshi Town, Wufeng Town, liaowa Town, Qingshan Town, Yeda Town, Yetan Town, baisang town Guanzhen. There are 1 farm and 1 forest farm in the territory. It covers an area of 3863 square kilometers and has a population of about 630000. The county government is located in Chengguan town. In December 1999, Qingshan township was removed from township to town. So far, Yunxian County has jurisdiction over 15 towns and 11 townships.
According to the fifth census in 2000, the total population of Yun county is 584315, including 75147 in Chengguan Town, 34096 in Anyang Town, 22090 in Yangxi Town, 24576 in Qingqu Town, 12833 in baisang Town, 32575 in Nanhua Town, 11510 in Bailang Town, 17897 in Liudong Town, 29488 in Tanshan Town, 27607 in Meipu Town, 18359 in Qingshan Town, 24764 in Chadian Town, 36063 in Liupi town and 21723 in Baoxia town, There are 23595 people in hujiaying Town, 12246 in Guihua Township, 16469 in Dayan Township, 14195 in Daliu Township, 19021 in Gaomiao Township, 20580 in Huangshi Township, 16329 in liaowa Township, 19796 in Ancheng Township, 14413 in Wufeng Township, 9247 in Donghe Township, 8093 in Yeda Township, 9414 in Yetan Township, 11081 in original seed farm and 1108 in hongyanbei forest farm.
In April 2001, Yunxian County adjusted 26 townships to 18 townships: 8 townships including Dayan, Donghe, liaowa, Ancheng, Gaomiao, Huangshi, Guihua and Yetan were abolished and merged with Chengguan, hujiaying, Liupi, Wufeng, baisang, Nanhua, Yangxi and Yeda respectively. Ten townships (towns) of Anyang, Qingqu, Meipu, Chadian, Tanshan, Bailang, Daliu, Qingshan, Liudong and Baoxia, and two farms of original seed farm and hongyanbei forest farm are reserved.
On September 9, 2014, the State Council officially approved the cancellation of Yunxian County and the establishment of Yunyang District of Shiyan City with the document of Guo Han No. 118.
On December 17, 2014, Yunyang District of Shiyan City was officially established. After the reform of Yunxian County, Shiyan will realize the leap from "mountain city" to "mountain city". The urban area of Shiyan will increase to 5056 square kilometers, and the permanent resident population will increase to 1.2 million.
On March 6, 2019, the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of finance, the Ministry of culture and tourism, and the State Administration of cultural relics announced the list of counties for the protection and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics (the first batch), in which Yunyang district was included.
