Xiangfu District Xiangfu district is a municipal district of Kaifeng City, Henan Province, bordering Lankao County and Qi County in the East, yuwangtai District of Kaifeng City in the west, Weishi County and Tongxu County in the south, and the Yellow River in the north.

Xiangfu district has a history of more than 2000 years since Qin established the county. It was named Xiangfu County in 1010. On October 19, 2014, the original Kaifeng County was officially renamed Xiangfu District, and the District People's government was stationed at No. 18, government east street, Chengguan town. In Xiangfu District, there are Chenliu Town, a famous historical town in Henan Province, and Zhuxian Town, one of the four famous towns in China.

Evolution of organizational system

In the Xia Dynasty, there was a city named Laoqiu in the northeast of the territory, which was said to be the capital of the middle Xia Dynasty.

In the spring and Autumn period, it was under the jurisdiction of the state of Zheng, with Laoqiu and Xinli.

In the Qin Dynasty, the county was established in the territory, with Chenliu county (governing Chenliu town) and Qifeng County, belonging to Dang county.

In the Western Han Dynasty, there were Xiaohuang County in the northeast, Chenliu county (governing Chenliu town) and Kaifeng County in the south, and Chenliu county was the governing seat of Chenliu county.

The Eastern Han Dynasty followed the Western Han Dynasty.

During the period of the Three Kingdoms, Chenliu county was promoted to Chenliu state and governed Chenliu county (now Chenliu town). In the north of the territory, there was Xiaohuang county and Kaifeng County was abolished.

In the Western Jin Dynasty, Chenliu state was reduced to Chenliu County, and the county was transferred to Xiaohuang County; Kaifeng County was set up in the south of the territory.

In the Northern Wei Dynasty, it belonged to Yuzhou and governed Hulao city (now Sishui Town, Xingyang city).

In the Eastern Wei Dynasty, it belonged to Liangzhou (today's Kaifeng City).

In the Sui Dynasty, there were Chenliu county and Kaifeng County in the south of the territory.

In the Northern Song Dynasty, it was an important place in the capital and was under the jurisdiction of Kaifeng Prefecture in Tokyo. There were Kaifeng County (chi), Xiangfu county (chi) and Junyi County in the Eastern Wei Dynasty. Dazhong Xiangfu three years reform), Chenliu county (Ji). In 1914, Xiangfu county was renamed Kaifeng County.

In 1957, Chenliu county was incorporated into Kaifeng County.

In 2014, Henan Province adjusted some administrative divisions of Kaifeng City, abolished Jinming district and merged into Longting District, and abolished Kaifeng County and established Xiangfu district.

Xiangfu District of Kaifeng city lies between 114 ° 07 ′ - 114 ° 43 ′ E and 34 ° 30 - 34 ° 56 ′ n, bordering Lankao County and Qi County in the East, yuwangtai District of Kaifeng City in the west, Weishi County and Tongxu County in the South and the Yellow River in the north. It is close to Kaifeng City and encircles Kaifeng City from the East and south. The urban area is only 7 km away from the city center. Xiangfu area is 40.8 km in length and 55 km in width, with a total area of 1291 square kilometers.

Topography

Xiangfu district is a part of the Yellow River alluvial plain. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. To the north of the Yellow River levee is high beach, to the south is Beihe depression, to the West and south is depression, and to the middle and East is flat. The altitude is between 89.3 and 62.5 meters above sea level. There are four types of landforms: Yellow River alluvial flat land, aeolian alluvial sand dune land, Yellow River alluvial flat land and Yellow River alluvial low-lying land.

Xiangfu district is rich in water resources and has a large amount of diving. There are 32 large and small rivers, and the Yellow River has good water quality and sufficient water source, which is conducive to the development of agriculture and aquaculture in Xiangfu district. Liuyuankou and Zhaokou artesian irrigation areas have been built in the Yellow River Diversion Project, and the main and branch areas can be extended to each township. The average depth of shallow groundwater is 3 meters, the thickness of water layer is about 15 meters, and the fresh water area accounts for 98.6% of the total area.

Xiangfu district is rich in deep groundwater resources with good water quality. It is low fluoride, low hardness and low mineralized water. It is an ideal source of domestic and industrial water. The outlet water temperature of 1000-1200 meters deep well is above 50 ℃, which belongs to low mineralized, metasilicic acid and sodium bicarbonate compound natural mineral water. It has high drinking and health care value.

On May 30, 2005, the State Council approved the adjustment of some administrative divisions of Kaifeng City and Kaifeng County: Xinghuaying town of Kaifeng County was put under the jurisdiction of Jinming District of Kaifeng City; Xianrenzhuang township was put under the jurisdiction of Gulou District of Kaifeng City.
