Fangzi District, the District of Weifang City, Shandong Province, is located in the southeast of Weifang City, in the middle of Shandong Peninsula. The overall terrain is high in the South and low in the north, belonging to warm temperate semi humid climate. It has a total area of 412 square kilometers and governs seven streets. In Xia Dynasty, Qingzhou was established as the state of Zhuo and Chunyu. business is the land of the state. In the Western Han Dynasty, it belonged to Zhen County, Sangdu County, Ledu County and Chunyu county. The Eastern Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms belong to Pingshou County, Beihai county. in the early Jin Dynasty, it belonged to the state of Qi in Qingzhou, and later to Pingshou County in Beihai. in the northern and Southern Dynasties, it belonged to Beihai County, Pingshou county and Gaoyang County. In 556, Beihai county was changed into Gaoyang County, and Pingshou county was merged into Xiami county. In 581, the first year of kaihuang of Sui Dynasty, Beihai county was restored and Beihai and Xiami counties were established. Kaihuang six years (586) home Weishui county. In April 1948, Weicheng county was liberated, and Fangzi town belonged to Fangzi city of Weifang special city, which was later changed into the Fourth District of Weifang City; other towns belonged to Weinan county. In 1950, Weinan county system was abolished and merged into Weibei county. In 1953, Weibei county was merged into Weixian county. Although the administrative divisions have been changed many times since then, most of the areas still belong to Weifang City (county level) and Weixian county. Only Huangqibao, Nanliu and jingshanwa belong to Anqiu and Changle counties. In October 1983, Weifang district was transformed into Weifang City (a city under the jurisdiction of the province), Fangzi District was established in December, and it was administered in January 1984.
