Poyang County, a county directly under the jurisdiction of Jiangxi Province, is managed by Shangrao City. Poyang County, formerly known as Fanyi and Raozhou, was renamed Poyang County in the Han Dynasty. It is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province and on the East Bank of Poyang Lake.
