Ji'an County belongs to Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the middle of Jiangxi Province, the center of Jitai basin and the middle reaches of Ganjiang River Basin. It is adjacent to Jizhou District, Qingyuan district and Jishui County of Ji'an City in the East, Taihe County in the south, Yongxin County and Anfu county in the west, Fenyi County, Xiajiang county and Yushui District of Xinyu City in the north. Ji'an County covers a total area of 2117 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 2 streets, 13 towns and 6 townships. Ji'an County, an old revolutionary base in China, is known as "Jiangjun county" and "hometown of lights" in China. History of construction
In the 26th year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (221 BC), Qin unified China and implemented the system of prefectures and counties, which was divided into 36 counties. Luling county was established at the beginning, which was subordinate to Jiujiang county. The county government was located in the west of Taihe County.
In the first year of emperor Gaozu of Han Dynasty (206 BC), Qin Dynasty died, Chu and Han Dynasty fought for hegemony. Yingbu was the king of Jiujiang, and Luling county was the kingdom of Jiujiang. In the fifth year of Gaozu (202 BC), Yingyin Hou Guanying crossed the river and settled Chu. It was divided into Jiujiang County, Yuzhang County, ling18 County, and Luling County, Yuzhang county. In the first year of the founding of the people's Republic of China, Yuzhang was changed into Jiujiang county and Luling into huanting county. Jianwu first year (25 years). Huanting county was renamed Luling. In 191, Luling county was established in Yuzhang. The county was named Gaochang, belonging to Luling county.
In the first year of Taikang in Jin Dynasty (280), Sima Yanping, the governor of Luling County, moved to Shiyang, and the county belonged to Yanjiu; in the eighth year of Xiankang (342), the governor of Luling County, Kong Lun, moved to the present Ji'an City, and Shiyang County moved with him.
In the first year of Liang Tianjian (502), Emperor Wu destroyed Qi, and Gaochang county was merged into Shiyang County, which was subordinate to Luling county and Tongzhi county.
In 590, Luling county was changed to Jizhou and Shiyang county to Luling county. The next year, Jiyang (now Jishui), Xingping (now Yongfeng) and Yangfeng (now Yongfeng) counties were abolished and merged into Luling County, which was subordinate to Jizhou. Daye three years (607). Change Jizhou to Luling County, and Luling county will remain under the same jurisdiction.
Tang Wude five years (622), restoration of Jizhou, Luling is still attached to the outline of the county. In the 21st year of Kaiyuan (733), Jiangnan Road was divided into East Road and West Road. In the sixth year of Wu Tianyou's reign (909), Luling County belonged to the territory of Yang Wu; in the eighth year of Baoda's reign in the Southern Tang Dynasty (950), 11 townships in Shuidong of Luling county were set up as Jishui County, and Luling county was still attached to Jizhou county.
In 1092, tongshui township of Luling and Shunhua township of Jishui exchanged (Shunhua township is Chunhua township); in 1277, Kublai established Xuanwei Department of Jiangxi Province, changed Jizhou into Jizhou Road, and Luling county was subordinate to the former.
In the first year of Yuanzhen (1295), Ji'an road was changed from Jizhou road to Ji'an road. The name of Ji'an began here. It is said that it means "Jitai Ping'an", and Luling county still belongs to it. In 1362, Zhu Yuanzhang took Jiangxi Province and changed Ji'an road into Ji'an Prefecture. Luling county was Ji'an Prefecture.
In the ninth year of Hongwu (1376) of the Ming Dynasty, the province of the West Bank of the Yangtze River was changed to the Department of Chengxuan political envoys. Luling county belongs to Ji'an Prefecture, the West Lake Road of Jiangxi political envoys.
In 1682, the road of Huxi was abandoned, and Ji'an Prefecture was directly under the province; in 1731, Luling county was under the jurisdiction of Ji'an Prefecture of Gannan Dao.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Ji'an Prefecture was abolished and the road was withdrawn. In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), Luling county was changed to Ji'an County, and Luling road was set up in Yichun. Ji'an County belongs to Luling road of Jiangxi Province. In the 15th year of the Republic of China, Lu Ling was abandoned and Ji'an County was directly under Jiangxi Province. In 1932, Jiangxi Province was divided into 13 administrative regions, and Ji'an County was subordinate to the ninth administrative region. In 1935, Jiangxi Province was reduced to eight administrative regions, and Ji'an County was subordinate to the third administrative region. In 1942, Jiangxi Province was divided into nine administrative regions, and Ji'an County was still the third administrative region.
On July 16, 1949, Ji'an County was liberated. On July 28, Shiyang town of Ji'an County was ordered to set up Ji'an City, which belongs to Ji'an district. In September 1949, Ji'an district was changed into Ji'an special district. In November 1958, Ji'an County was merged into Ji'an city. In June 1959, counties and cities were still divided. In 1968, Ji'an County changed its name to Jinggangshan area. Ji'an County belongs to Jinggangshan area. In 1979, Jinggangshan area was changed to Ji'an area, and Ji'an County still belongs to Ji'an area.
In 2000, Ji'an area was changed into Ji'an City, which belongs to Ji'an County.
