Jieshou Jieshou, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Anhui Province, is managed by Fuyang City. It is located in the northwest of Anhui Province, also known as Jiegou and xiaoshanghai. It is adjacent to Linquan county and Fuyang in the south, Taihe County in the East, and Shenqiu and Dancheng counties in Henan Province in the northwest. Liu Qi, a famous general of the Southern Song Dynasty, defeated Jin Wushu, so it was named after the division of Gou. During the Anti Japanese War, Jieshou was not invaded by the Japanese army because of the closed traffic. Merchants from Shanghai, Nanjing and other cities moved to Jieshou one after another. Jieshou has a long history and a rich cultural heritage. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Wang Mang and Liu Xiu competed here, leaving behind the ancient saying that "Wang Mang chased Liu Xiu". Guangwu town became the only town named after the emperor's year in China. Liu Futong, the leader of the red scarf army at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, first raised the anti yuan flag in his hometown, which laid the foundation for the establishment of the Ming Dynasty.

In the Western Zhou Dynasty, Chen kingdom was in the north and Shen Zi kingdom was in the south.
In the spring and Autumn period, in the fourth year of Duke Ding of Lu (506 BC), Cai destroyed Shenzi and entered Cai from the South; in the seventeenth year of Duke AI of Lu (478 BC), Chu destroyed Chen and entered Chu from the north.
During the Warring States period, Chu entered Wei in the north and Chu in the south.

In the Western Han Dynasty, in the sixth year of emperor Gaodi of Han Dynasty (201 BC), Xinyang County was changed into a marquis state, which belonged to the northern part of the territory and then became a county; in the fourth year of emperor Xuandi of Han Dynasty (66 BC), the Marquis state of Yangcheng was set up in the central part of the territory and abandoned; in the southern part, it was still a sleeping county (yizuo county). Wang Mang usurped the Han Dynasty. In the first year of the founding of the people's Republic of China (A.D. 9), he changed Runan County to rutuben County, changed Yangcheng to Xin'an, changed Xinyang to Xinming, and changed dormitory to run rule.
In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Shixing Prefecture and county had a three-level system. In the north, it belonged to Xinyang Marquis state; in the south, it belonged to Gushi Marquis state, and later it was abandoned as a county; in the middle, it belonged to Ruyin county. It is also under the jurisdiction of Runan County in Yuzhou.
In the Wei Dynasty of the Three Kingdoms, Xinyang County was in the north, Gushi County in the south, and Runan County in Yuzhou.
In the Western Jin Dynasty, Xinyang County was abolished. Song County in the north, Gushi County in the south, and Ruyin County in Yuzhou. Huidi divided Ruyin County into Xincai County, and Gushi County was transferred to it.
In the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Song County of Ruyin County in the north and Gushi County of Xincai County in the South were under the jurisdiction of Yuzhou.

In Ming Dynasty, Taihe County in Yingzhou was in the north, Yingzhou in the south, and Fengyang Prefecture in Nanjing. The northwest part of the city belongs to Shenqiu County, Chenzhou, Kaifeng Prefecture, Henan Province.
In the Qing Dynasty, in 1724, the northern part of the territory was changed to Taihe County of Bozhou; in the 13th year, Yingzhou was changed to Yingzhou Prefecture; in the northern part, it was changed to Taihe County of Yingzhou Prefecture of Anhui Province; in the southern part, it was changed to Fuyang County; in the northwest part, it was changed to Shenqiu County of Chenzhou Prefecture of Henan Province.
At the beginning of the Republic of China, most of the counties belonged to Fuyang county and Taihe County of huaisidao in Anhui Province. In 1932, Fuyang Commissioner's office was set up, including Taihe County and Fuyang county. In 1935, Linquan county was set up in the west of Fuyang County, and then the south of Fuyang county was divided into Linquan county. In 1939, Zaomiao town was developed in the northwest of the urban area, belonging to Shenqiu County, Henan Province. It was divided into Jieshou Town, Jieshou town and Liuxing town. In October 1947, Jieshou, Liuxing and Zaomiao merged to form a democratic government. In November this year, the northern part of the border belongs to shenluhuai county (Jieshou county), and in December the southern part belongs to Quanyang county. Jieshou City and Jieshou County belong to the second division of Henan Anhui Soviet border administrative office, and Quanyang county belongs to the fourth division. In March 1949, the administrative system of Henan Anhui Soviet border region was abolished. Taihe County was in the north, Jieshou City in the middle and Linquan County in the south. It is also under the jurisdiction of Fuyang special office of Wanbei administrative office.
During the period of the people's Republic of China, in September 1953, Jieshou City was removed and Jieshou county was built. The three districts of Hongzhuang, Zhuanji and Taomiao in Linquan county were zoned. The west of Guangwu district and ShuiHuang District in Taihe County were under the jurisdiction of Jieshou county. It belongs to Fuyang District of Anhui Province.
In November 1958, Jieshou county and Taihe County merged into Shoutai County, and the two districts of Hongzhuang and Zhuanji in the South were divided into Linquan county. At the end of April of the next year, Taihe County and Jieshou county were separated, and their jurisdiction was still under the original system, belonging to Fuyang special district of Anhui Province, which remained unchanged until 1985.
On August 17, 1988, Jieshou county was abolished and Jieshou City was established.

The rest is the Cigu river system. The Yinghe river originates from the southern foot of Songshan Mountain in Dengfeng County, Henan Province. From northwest to Southeast, it enters from Liuwan village of Shenqiu County, flows through the central part of the county, goes to Zhangzhuang in the East, enters Taihe County, passes Fuyang and Yingshang in the southeast, and joins Huaihe River in a T-shape at mohekou. The water system of Quanhe river is low-lying, high in the north and low in the south. The flow direction of the river channel is basically south to the Quanhe river.
