. There is a bronze statue of puzaiting in the center of the courtyard, and a plaque written by Dr. Sun Yat sen in his handwriting "poo Li Tong Xin" is hung under the north room.
Puzaiting's former residence is a courtyard shaped courtyard with the characteristics of Han style residence in the south of the Yangtze River, covering an area of about 1500 square meters. In the courtyard, the trees are green and the spring flowers are budding. In the center of the courtyard, Mr. Pu zaiting's elegant sitting bronze statue holding a book is particularly eye-catching
. Mr. pujardin and his three sons and four daughters grew up in this courtyard.
The former residence is a cloister style courtyard building with one floor and one floor facing south. The houses built in the early Republic of China are mainly of wood structure, with red columns in front of the wing rooms, which makes them solemn and dignified. The Yellow window lattice is exquisitely carved, showing a bit of simplicity and elegance.
In the middle of the first floor of the building on the north side is Pu's Buddhist hall, which is burning incense and worshiping Buddha in Tingjia. Next to the Buddhist hall is a small wing room. This is Zhuolin's bedroom before she went to Beijing to study. Bedroom layout is very simple, antique wooden bed occupied most of the bedroom space, standing in front of the window, you can see the scenery of the courtyard. The guest room is full of photos, calligraphy and paintings of Zhuolin and her family, from which we can learn about Zhuolin's growth. Zhuolin was admitted to the first women's middle school in Peking in 1932, and later to the Physics Department of Peking University.
Furnishings of former residence
The exhibition of Pu zaiting's life story in his former residence is very detailed. A large number of materials and photos show Pu zaiting's life devoted to the development of local national industry and commerce.
In addition to the introduction of Pu zaiting's life, there are also inscriptions by Sun Yat Sen and his wife Zhuolin and precious photos of Deng Xiaoping and his wife Zhuolin (PU zaiting's youngest daughter, formerly Pu qiongying) in different periods in the exhibition room, which have important historical value and reference value for the study of early revolutionary struggle and the development of local national industry.
Pu worked hard in ting and founded a ham processing plant to produce canned ham. In 1923, Xuanwei canned ham was well received at the Chinese native products competition held in Guangzhou. After tasting it, Sun Yat Sen praised it and presented it with a beautiful medal. He also wrote a book "drinking and eating virtue" for puzaiting brothers food canning company, in recognition of puzaiting's virtue of "being a person with harmony and doing business with virtue". Pu zaiting regarded the inscriptions as rare treasures, framed and collected them, made them into striking plaques and hung them on the gate, as the motto of his own efforts to develop Xuanwei local national industry and commerce. Because of Dr. Sun Yat Sen's affirmation, Xuanwei ham has been famous all over the world.
In the exhibition hall, Dr. Sun Yat Sen's inscription of "drinking and eating virtue" lacks one point in each of the four big characters, which is the foreshadowing deliberately set by Dr. Sun Yat Sen, the deep-seated mystery and profound connotation under the metaphor. He not only reduced the number of "Yin" and "Shi De", but also increased the number of "Zai" in "puzaiting brothers food canning company", and made the "Ren" of "ting" stand out in the middle. The hidden meanings of these metaphors make the world racking their brains. Up to now, there is no explanation, leaving people with endless reverie.
