Miaofeng Mountain

According to the famous Yanjing Sui Shi Ji written by Fucha dunchong in the Qing Dynasty, "Miaofeng Mountain belongs to April every year. Incense can be the best in the world." In 1925, the Institute of guoxuemen of Peking University conducted a special investigation on Miaofengshan temple fair and published the special issue of Miaofengshan incense. This investigation initiated the field investigation of folklore in China, and Miaofengshan became the birthplace of Chinese folk culture.

Tanzhe Temple
Tanzhe Temple is located in Tanzhe mountain, Mentougou District, Beijing, 35 kilometers away from the urban area. Because the Longtan and Zheshu in the temple are very famous, people call it tanzheshi. It is the first temple built after Buddhism was introduced into Beijing area, so there is still a popular saying that "first there was Tanzhe Temple, then there was Beijing city". The Buddha Bathing Dharma Association and the lotus pool meeting are very famous in Beijing. In 1998, Tanzhe Temple resumed Buddhist activities. On the first day of the lunar new year, the fifteenth and the thousandth year of the lunar new year, the ancient temple was surrounded by cigarettes and chimes. Tanzhe Temple covers an area of 2.5 hectares inside and 11.2 hectares outside the temple. In addition to the surrounding forests and mountain farms under the jurisdiction of Tanzhe Temple, the total area of Tanzhe Temple is over 121 hectares. The palace is built according to the height of the mountain and is well arranged. It is said that when the Forbidden City was built in the early Ming Dynasty, it was built after Tanzhe Temple.
