Zha Zhen Liang Zi

Chazhen Liangzi, 4345 meters above sea level, is located in Hongyuan County, 719 kilometers of 213 line. It means willow. Chazhenliangzi is the top of the hilly plateau in the south of Hongyuan. Although the mountain is not unique, it is a great spectacle because there are two water sources on both sides of the plateau, one into the Yellow River and the other into the Yangtze River.

Shanbei (wenbugou, Tukou township) also has a water source, called tukouqu (meaning "Tongguo River" in Tibetan), which flows southward into the suomo River, a tributary of Dadu River, which is a tributary of the upper Yangtze River. In the south of the mountain, gaqu River (Baihe River), named longriqu, flows 400 kilometers and flows into the Yellow River near suokezang temple, Tangke Township, Ruoergai County. Around the chazhen Liangzi pass, there are red willows, Ranunculus plateaus and Spiraea. Standing on the chazhen Liangzi pass, you can see that the two rivers are competing with each other. Looking from afar, you can see the undulating hills, flocks of cattle and sheep, and the scenery seems magnificent.

It is said that there is a pretty fairy girl, wearing colorful clothes, holding gold woven warp and weft on the top of the mountain, stretching for hundreds of miles and spreading all kinds of cloth. One day, when there was a rainstorm, Xiangu got up and shook her head. The rain flowed along one side. As a result, there were abundant water and grass in the north and farmland in the southwest, one for pastoral areas and the other for agricultural areas.

In 1953, the cheng'a highway was built. Because of listening to the sound of "Chabu felt", the road builders used to call it "chazhen Liangzi". The Liangzi is the only access from the South Road to the grassland in Northwest Sichuan.

Characteristic scenic spots

Dageze scenic spot on the west side of chazhen Liangzi is particularly famous. Dageze is located 369km away from cheng'a highway. The scenic spot is composed of three parts: GEZE holy mountain, dageze temple and Baihe River source ecological zone.

Dageze mountain is protected by Tibetan Buddhism. Its ecological environment is well preserved, with lush forests and beautiful grasslands. Influenced by the Himalayan orogeny, dageze mountain has been uplifted from the sea floor, and now has weathered mussels and conches. The mountain system is limestone, and the exposed part is naturally eroded to form strange shapes such as Guanyin's head, manna vase, Mountain God and lion, which are attached with beautiful myths by Tibetan compatriots.

Dageze temple, built on the mountain, is a Tibetan Gelug Buddhist temple. According to cloud, it is a "hidden" treasure. The temple is surrounded by the remains of King Gesar, who is said to have practiced here.
