It is a non sedative antipruritic agent and should not be administered at night. For the patients with mental disorder during the day, insomnia at night, extensive skin lesions, skin edema and pruritus, the curative effect is better. Its antipruritic effect is nonspecific, similar to that of analgesics, and can only play the role of symptomatic treatment.
