The above ground part of Thalictrum simplex L. is composed of four alkaloids: Thalictrum alkaloid, Thalictrum Sagittarius alkaloid, Thalictrum hordei alkaloid, Thalictrum fenneri alkaloid and Thalictrum salmonine. The leaves contain thalonine and thalonine. The roots contain alkaloids such as Jatropha alkaloid, jatropha alkaloid, β - allocryptopine alkaloid, Magnolia alkaloid, Cordyceps arrowhead midine, Phellodendron alkaloid, and so on. The seeds contain lycopene. Tamaric acid is separated from the oil.
[pharmacological action] cordycepin arrowhead has sedative effect on mice. Although it has no protective effect on coprazole (150 mg / kg intraperitoneal injection), it can prolong the sleep time of cyclopentobarbital by two times. This dose (500 mg / kg subcutaneous injection) does not affect the body temperature. If the dose is doubled, the body temperature can be reduced by 2.5-2.7 ℃ within 2 hours and 6.5-6.0 ℃ within 18 hours. In anesthetized cats, intravenous injection of 1-5 mg / kg can reduce blood pressure by 20-90 mmHg, slow down heart rate, increase the amplitude of cardiac contraction, and 10 mg / kg can cause death. It has little effect on cholinergic receptor and does not change the response of adrenaline. 5 mg / kg had a mild anti adrenaline effect and a mild cholinergic effect on the small intestine and uterus of cats. It has antispasmodic effect at the concentration of 0.0001.
Intravenous injection of 1-3 mg / kg of harringtonine can cause a brief decrease in blood pressure and death in cats. The median lethal dose to mice was 282 mg / kg.
The antitumor alkaloids are also found in Thalictrum.
