It is perennial, 40-120 cm high. Stem erect, upper branches slender, tomentose or pilose. The basal leaves and the leaves of the lower part of the stem have long stalks or nearly sessile, undivided or 3-lobed or 3-way pinnate division from one to two; the middle lobes of the leaves of the lower part of the stem are ovate, apex acuminate, petiolate, and the edges of the lobes are serrated or acutely serrated; the leaves of the upper part of the stem are narrow lanceolate, base cuneate, and the edges have sharp and deep notches or teeth, and the surface of the lobes is slightly rough, while the leaves of the back are not The veins are pilose.
