Lespedeza multiflora
Small shrubs. Stem often in the near base part of the branch, slender and weak branches, apex drooping, with stripes. Leaflets small and thin, obovate or narrowly obovate, 6-25 mm long and 3-16 mm wide, apex truncate, emarginate, spiny, hairy at birth, especially densely covered with white villi below. Raceme axillary, petiole short, pedicel thick; bracteoles ovate, acute sharp; calyx 5-lobed, lobes lanceolate; corolla butterfly, pink to purple, flag obovate, shorter than keel; stamens 10, 2-body; pistil 1, style slender. Pods elliptic, 4 mm long, hairy. The flowering period is September.
Born in the hillside jungle. Distributed in northeast provinces, South to the Yangtze River Basin and southwest.
