Perennial herbs. Rhizome thick, scaly, with many fibrous roots. There are slender stolons. The basal leaves are long petiole, lanceolate, pinnately 3-foliolate, ovate, apex obtuse, base broadly cuneate, margin coarsely serrate, 2-3 cm long, 1.5-2 cm wide, green above, sparsely pilose, gray green below, densely pilose. The flowers are white, small and racemose, and the receptacle is swollen and fleshy, white. Aggregate fruit globose, achene ovoid, red. It blooms in spring.

It grows on the edge of field, ditch, roadside grass and moist and fertile soil. It is distributed in Guangxi, Yunnan and Tibet.
