[plant morphology] Potentilla Raspberry
Perennial short herbs, 5-26 cm high. The whole plant is densely covered with plush. The main root is short and thick, with many lateral branches, dark brown. Stems weak, erect or oblique. The leaflets of basal leaves are 5-7, sparse 3, or 9, the top three leaflets are larger, elliptic ovate, obovate or oblong, 0.8-4 cm long and 0.6-2 cm wide, the apex is pointed or slightly obtuse, the base is cuneate or round, the edge is coarsely serrated, the petiole is long, the stipules are membranous, the cauline leaves are small, with 3 leaflets, and the petiole is short or absent. Corymbose cyme, many flowers; yellow flowers, 1-1.5 cm in diameter; calyx 5-lobed, accessory sepals 5, elliptic; petals 5, all with extended pubescence, stamens many. Achenes small, oblong ovate, yellowish white, rugose. The flowering period is April.
Born on rocky hillsides, grasslands and terraces. Distributed in Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi, Henan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou and other places.
