[plant morphology] Begonia yunnanensis

Perennial thin herbs, 15-35 cm high. Rhizome slender, oblique, slightly fibrous. The stem is fine, glabrous, unbranched or occasionally branched, with 4-6 leaves. The upper leaves are gradually small, long ovate, 3-6.5cm long, 2-3cm wide at the base, acuminate or near caudal, heart-shaped at the base, slightly skewed, with irregular blunt teeth at the edge, green on both sides, glabrous and membranous; petiole is 3-5cm long, slender. Racemose cymes axillary or terminal; pedicels 1-1.5 cm long; flowers small, pink. Capsule has 3 wings, one of which is extra large, triangular, glabrous.

It grows on the wet rock under the hillside forest. It is distributed in Yunnan, Sichuan, Guangxi and Guizhou.
