[source] this product is the dry bulb of Fritillaria ussuriensis masim.

In spring, the skin, fibrous roots, mud and sand are removed and dried in the sun or at low temperature.

[character] the product is oblate, 0.5-1cm in height and 0.6-2cm in diameter. The surface is milky white or yellowish white, the outer scale leaves are 2-valved, thick, similar in size or slightly larger, clasped, the top is slightly flat or slightly concave, often slightly cracked; the central scale is small. The material is solid and brittle, and the section is powdery. It tastes bitter.
