Liana; tendrils 1 or 2. The leaf is leathery, suborbicular, 7-10 cm long and 8-12 cm wide, with 2 lobes at the apex and 1 / 7-1 / 5 of the leaf blade. The tip is round, the base is heart-shaped, with 9-11 veins, and the petiole is 2.5-4 cm long. Corymb 8-14 cm long, terminal; peduncle and pedicel all have reddish brown pubescence; bracts 2, linear, covered with reddish brown pubescence; calyx tubular, glabrous, 2-2.5 cm long; petals spatulate or suborbicular, white with red; fertile stamens 3, sterile stamens 7; ovary with short ovary stalk; stigma capitate. The pods are flat, 22 cm long, 4.2-5 cm wide, with fine reticulate veins, glabrous, and more than 30 seeds. The flowering period is July. The fruiting period is September.
