Herbs perennial, ca. 1 m tall. The roots are dense and cross. Stem erect, cylindrical, striate, puberulent. Single leaf alternate, 5-10 cm long. The leaves in the middle part of the stem are deeply divided into two cycles of feathers. The small lobes are elliptic to linear, with pubescence on both sides and more on the bottom. Inflorescence light yellow, diameter about 3 mm, arranged into terminal panicle. Achene cylindrical, slightly flat, without corolla. It blooms in summer.

Born in the village, roadside, hillside and other places. It is distributed in Yunnan and other places.

Bitter, cold.

Functions and indications: clearing away heat and toxin, relieving heat and stopping bleeding. It can cure bone steaming, heat stroke, exogenous infection, hematemesis, bleeding, skin itching.
