Cinnamon oil (Chinese Pharmacopoeia).
[source] the aromatic oil was obtained from the bark, branches and leaves of Cinnamomum cassia. For plant morphology, see "cinnamon".
[medicinal material] is a yellow or yellowish brown clear liquid. There is a special smell of cinnamon, sweet and spicy. Exposed in the air, or stored for a long time, the color gradually becomes dark, and the quality gradually becomes thick. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in the same volume of alcohol and glacial acetic acid.

[prescription selection] to treat various malaria diseases: a stem of JUNCAO, about three or four inches long, moistened with water, then smeared with cinnamon oil, pasted at Fengfu point on the back of the spine, and then down to Feishu, and sealed with Mian paper. It should be done at one or two hours before the onset, or one day before the onset is better, and the next day after the onset is more severe, and then gradually reduced.
