Compound umbel terminal, without involucre and small involucre; umbrella width 8-30, unequal; pedicel 5-30; flowers small, golden yellow. The fruit is round and sharp with special aroma. The flowering period is June to July and the fruiting period is October.
It is cultivated in different places. It is mainly produced in Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Gansu and Liaoning.
