Perennial herbs with white milk, 4-25 cm high. The stem is enlarged and hollow. Leaves oblanceolate, linear or lanceolate, apex obtuse or rounded, entire or slightly dentate. Inflorescence dense at the end of stem; floret yellow; corolla white.
Most of them grow in alpine grassland. Distributed in Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Sichuan, Yunnan, Tibet and other places.
[collection] harvest from July to September.
Bitter, cold.
Functions and indications: clearing away heat and toxin, removing dampness and relieving pain. Treatment of traumatic injury, sore throat, rheumatic pain, inflammation and fever.
[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoction, 1-3 yuan.
