The total length is 120-160 cm. The eyes are large and the pupils are round. There are 3 buccal scales and a few 2 or 4 upper lip scales, 8 upper lip scales and occasionally 7 or 10 upper lip scales. There are 11 anterior anal scales, 160-169 abdominal scales and 103-126 inferior caudal scales. The dorsal surface of the body is dark gray, the margin of scales is dark brown, and the middle is blue brown. From the anterior part of the body, the bluish brown in the middle of each scale is connected back and forth to form a bluish brown longitudinal line. The abdomen scales are light yellow, and the two sides of each scale are blue gray, and dark brown to the tail.
It lives in plain, mountainous and hilly areas, and lives on evergreen trees. It feeds on birds, frogs, rats, lizards and other animals. Non toxic, but often easy to bite. Distributed in Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Yunnan and other places.
