Perennial herbs, 30-60 cm high. Stem simple, erect, long hairy. The root leaves are spoon shaped, oblong, base gradually narrowed, apex short, margin irregularly serrated, with coarse hairs on top; the stem leaves are alternate, oblong or elliptic, sessile, embracing stem, hairy on both sides, with many veins and irregular teeth on the edge. The head inflorescence is single at the top of the stem, large and golden; the involucre is bell shaped, and the involucre is long and round lanceolate; all of them are ligulate flowers, the ligulate is linear, the apex is 5-toothed, the tube is long and thin, the anther is yellow; the style is filiform, and the stigma is 2-lobed. Achenes linear, longitudinally ribbed, corolla gray white. The flowering period is summer and moon.
Born in grassland, hillside meadow. It is distributed in North China and Northeast China.
