[plant morphology] Pinus thunbergii, also known as Pinus bungeana, Pinus banger and juniper.

It grows on dry and barren gravel land on sunny hillside. It is distributed in Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Inner Mongolia and Northeast China.
