[source] it is the leaf of Clerodendrum trichotomum Thunb.
[plant morphology] shrub. The flowers and leaves were crumpled and smelly; the young branches and petioles had yellowish brown pubescence, and the inner pith of the branches had yellowish thin sections. Leaf blade broadly ovate, ovate, triangular ovate, ovate elliptic, 5-16cm long, 3-14cm wide, apex acuminate, base truncate or broadly cuneate, entire or undulate teeth, both surfaces sparsely pubescent or subglabrous; petiole 2-8cm long. Cymes terminal or axillary; calyx purplish red, 5-lobed, almost reaching base; corolla white or pinkish; style not exceeding stamens. Drupe subglobose, blue purple at maturity. The flowering period is from July to September and the fruiting period is from September to October.
Born on hillside, roadside and village side. It is mainly produced in Jiangsu and Zhejiang.

[character] the leaves are shrunken, grayish green or yellowish brown, covered with Tricholoma on both sides, especially at the veins on the lower surface; the petioles are longitudinally furrowed and densely covered with Tricholoma. It is fragrant, bitter and astringent.
