The fruiting body is white, sometimes yellowish, translucent, cocklike, with smooth and soft glial folds. It forms a flat, thin, leaflike flap, which is as bright as a flower. If you touch it with your fingers, you will release white or yellow mucus. Basidiospores are subglobose, 6-7.5x5-6 μ M.

Parasitic on rotten trees. It is distributed in Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangxi, Fujian, Hubei, Shaanxi, etc.

It is better to scrape the tremella into the bamboo cage with a bamboo knife in the morning, evening or rainy days, clean it, remove impurities, and dry it in the sun or dry it.
