Come on, look for delicious food in the countryside
Introduction:
"Suo Mian, also known as longevity noodles, is a special product of Zhejiang and Fujian provinces. It's very complicated to make Suo Mian. Simply put, it's made by fermenting the dough with salt, pulling it into very thin noodles, drying them on wooden poles and putting them on the plate. In Wenzhou, no matter in the city or in the countryside, all the old people's birthday are celebrated by their children and relatives to wish them health and longevity. When a child is born in the family, the host will invite relatives, friends and neighbors to eat noodles and share the joy of being a child. In the early days, in the streets of Wenzhou City, we often heard the cry of selling Suomai. Most of the women who carried the burden of selling Suomai came from Ruian countryside. In the past, the women often came by boat. After landing at Xiaonanmen wharf, they carried two baskets full of cable noodles with a shoulder pole and began to walk through the streets. Nowadays, the sale of suomain has entered the fixed stalls and supermarkets in the market. We can no longer see the burden of suomain women, nor hear the long cry of "suomain - Oh, suomain -". The custom that Wenzhou people always eat Suo Mian when they celebrate their birthday or have children is still maintained, especially when they emigrate to Europe. "
