Introduction:

Production steps:
Step 1: cut the chicken into pieces;
Step 2: soak lotus seeds in advance, wash jujube, longan meat, Euryale ferox seed and medlar seed for standby;
Step 3: cut ginger into slices;
Step 4: blanch the chicken in boiling water for about 1 minute;
Step 5: wash with hot water;
Step 6: add water to the sand pot (I use cast iron pot), wait for the water to boil, and then add the chicken;
Step 7: add ginger, lotus seed and Euryale ferox seed,
Step 8: bring to a boil over medium heat, turn to low heat and cook for about 20 minutes;
Step 9: add dates and longan, continue to simmer for about 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked and rotten;
Step 10: add salt to taste;
Step 11: add a little rock sugar to improve the taste;
Step 12: finally, add Lycium barbarum and bring to a boil.

Note: soup is actually very simple, choose a good material, cook it slowly, just need a little patience and effort. What we should pay attention to is the order and timing of adding ingredients. For example, lotus seed and Euryale ferox need to be cooked thoroughly and rotten for a long time, so add them earlier; jujube and longan will lose nutrition if they are cooked for a long time, so add them later; wolfberry is the easiest to cook, and once they are cooked for a long time, they will be broken, so add them finally. If you don't like too sweet, you can skip rock sugar. In fact, jujube, longan and wolfberry all have sweet taste, which is very sweet without sugar. Don't worry about lotus seeds. They don't taste bitter.
