Production steps:
Step 1: This is fairy grass! It's a good thing to cook the grass jelly! There may not be many herbal medicine shops. Not all of them sell them. I bought it in Bashi when I was in Xiamen. There is still a little fairy grass left at home. I'm afraid it will be broken next year. It's just hot these days, so I cook it. Pure natural, no additives. After eating this, I don't want to eat the fairy grass sold on the street any more.
Step 2: clean Xiancao and prepare rice soup. Xiancao water has color, how to wash all have color, if you want to wash all water clear, it will be too tired to boil pulp. Rub it several times until there is no sand. This is very important, otherwise there will be sand in the grass jelly. Soak for half an hour after washing.
When cooking porridge, put some thick rice soup out and add it to the boiling water to make it easier to freeze.
Step 3: cook. I put it in an electric cooker. It's convenient to cook without looking at the fire and water. Put more water, boil for an hour or two, more pulp will be produced. Some people say it's easier to freeze by pounding before cooking. I haven't tried it because there are no tools. But if you think about it, it must be easier to produce pulp.
Step 4: when the water is almost boiled, take out the fairy grass.
Step 5: add the thick rice soup into the pot.
Step 6: continue to evaporate water. At this time, if you cover the pot, it will overflow, so don't cover it.
Step 7: scoop a little with a spoon and let it cool to see if it will freeze. If not, continue to evaporate water. It's freezing when it's cool! Remember)
Step 8: cover the basin with gauze.
Step 9: pour in the evaporated Xiancao soup.
Step 10: let it cool and you'll get the grass jelly.
Step 11: when eating, use a spoon to cut into small pieces, add some sugar or honey, good to drink! It's cooler to put ice in the refrigerator for a while in summer.

Note: quantity problem: use 2.5-3 Liang Xiancao each time, add 3.5-4 liters of water, boil to 1.5 liters of soup and 0.5 liters of rice soup, evaporate to about 0.8 liters. It's all approximate. If you think rice soup is troublesome, just throw a handful of rice and cook it. Anyway, you have to filter it. It's OK! It's possible to make soup for the first time. Let's continue to evaporate! If it's too hard, heat it up, add some water and freeze it.
