Anxiang Township
Anxiang Township, subordinate to Xingtang County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Xingtang County, bordering nanxieshen township of Xinle City in the East, Nanlou township of Zhengding County in the south, Beiwa township of Lingshou County in the West and Shitong Township in the north, with an administrative area of 42.86 square kilometers.
In 1953, Anxiang township was divided into donganxiang, Dongzheng and zhanghuokou townships in the three districts of Xingtang County; in 1984, it was changed into Xi'an Xiang township; in 1996, Xi'an Xiang Township and dongliuying Township merged to establish Anxiang township. By the end of 2018, 31911 people registered residence in the township. As of June 2020, Anxiang township has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in xiliuying village.
In 2011, the total revenue of Anxiang township was 9.437 million yuan, an increase of 136% over the previous year. From the perspective of major taxes, business tax was 2.52 million yuan, value-added tax was 1.27 million yuan, and enterprise income tax was 562000 yuan. In 2018, there were 15 industrial enterprises in Anxiang Township, including 4 Enterprises above Designated Size and 29 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1953, Anxiang township was divided into donganxiang, Dongzheng and zhanghuokou townships in three districts of Xingtang County.
In 1958, Xingtang County was abolished and merged into Xinle County, and Xi'an Xiang commune was established.
In 1962, Xingtang County was restored to its original state.
In 1984, it was changed to Xi'an Xiangxiang township.
In 1996, Xiangxiang Township in Xi'an merged with dongliuying township to establish Anxiang township.

At the end of 2011, Anxiang Township had jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages: Dongzheng, beixieshen, Biwei, donganxiang, Xianxiang, zhanghuokou, mihuokou, hujiazhuang, yuehuokou, dongzhengzhuang, dongliuying, xiliuying, Changxiang, cihezhuang, Xizheng, nanzhangwu, beizhangwu, xifuliu, dongfuliu, nanfuliu, and zhongfuliu.
As of June 2020, Anxiang township has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages: Xi'an Xiang Village, Dong'an Xiang Village, Biwei village, beixieshen village, Dongzheng village, zhanghuokou village, mihuokou village, hujiazhuang village, nanfuliu village, xifuliu village, beifuliu village, zhongfuliu village, nanzhangwu village, Changxiang village and cihezhuang village. The township people's government is stationed in xiliuying village.

History and culture
In the Song Dynasty, there was a small river flowing from the north to the south between the East and Xi'an incense. Those who lived in the West called it the West Bank, and then took the homonym and called it Xi'an township. In the reign of Jin Dading (1161-1189), the "Xiangyan Temple" was built and later changed to Xi'an incense, meaning that the two villages respected the Buddha, abided by the law and lived and worked in peace and contentment. Anxiang township is named after the Township People's Government in Xiangcun, Xi'an.
