Buhai town
Buhai Town, belonging to Dehui City, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the south of Dehui City, bordering daqingzui town in the East, Xinglong Town and Jijia town in Jiutai District in the south, zhuchengzi town and Tongtai Township in the west, Huifa street in the north, 16.5km away from Dehui municipal government, with a total area of 201.37km2.
In the late Qing Dynasty, Buhai town belonged to Wude and Liujia of mude Township, Changchun Prefecture; in November 1992, it was changed from Buhai township to Buhai town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Bu Hai town was 46188. As of June 2020, Buhai town has 5 communities and 17 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Shengyang village.
In 2018, there were 19 industrial enterprises in Buhai Town, including 9 Enterprises above Designated Size and 231 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters. In September 2018, the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas and the Ministry of Finance approved Buhai town to carry out the demonstration construction of a strong agricultural town.
History of construction
In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Wude and Liujia of mude Township in Changchun. In 1910, Shuangan town was set up, belonging to the Fifth District.
In July 1932, it was divided into the Fifth District of Jiutai county.
In December 1957, it was transferred to Dehui county.
In March 1958, Shuangmiaozi township was established.
In April 1959, Shuangmiaozi township was transformed into Shuangmiaozi commune.
In October 1961, Shuangmiaozi commune was renamed Buhai commune.
In January 1984, Buhai commune was transformed into Buhai township.
In November 1992, it was changed from Buhai township to Buhai town.
In August 2005, Shengyang street was merged into Buhai town.

Buhai town is located in the plain between Yinma River and wukai river. The terrain is high in the West and low in the East, high in the South and low in the north. The terrain is divided into valley flood plain and water diversion platform. The highest point of Buhai town is located in the central platform, with an altitude of 182 meters. The lowest point is located in paozi village in the north, close to the intersection of the two rivers, with an altitude of 167 meters.
