Bancheng town

Bancheng town is located in the north of Lanshan District, Linyi City, Shandong Province, adjacent to Liguan town and baishabu town in the East, Wanggou town in the west, Zaoyuan town in the South and Yinan County in the north. Bancheng village is 15km away from the urban area, with a total area of 95.63 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 32 administrative villages, 61 natural villages, 75698 people (2017), and 4067 hectares of cultivated land. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south, with hills in the north and plains in the south. The Liuqing river flows through the southwest. National Highway 205 and Yimeng road run through the north and south, Wensi road and Yuping connecting line run through the East and West, and the town is 3 kilometers away from the north exit of Linyi on Beijing Shanghai expressway. Linyi High Speed Railway North Station is only 10 kilometers away from the town government.

In 2016, we completed 54 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size, with a total industrial output value of 58 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7%; fixed asset investment of 6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13%; 17 enterprises with an output value of over 100 million yuan; and 7 enterprises with profits and taxes of over 10 million yuan. In 1977, Bancheng commune was established in baishabu Town, zaogoutou town and Liguan township.

It was renamed Bancheng Township in 1984 and established a town in 1994.

In 2002, Bancheng town governed 51 administrative villages, with 13070 households and 44108 people, covering an area of 81.34 square kilometers and a population of 23760.

On May 13, 2003, the provincial government approved that Shijiazhuang, dongshigou, xishigou, Houshe, sanshengzhuang, yongtaizhuang, Renjiazhuang and other seven villages in Wanggou Town, Feixian County should be under the jurisdiction of Bancheng Town, Lanshan District, Linyi city.

On August 4, 2005, Lanshan district government approved Bancheng town to adjust the scale of some administrative villages (Linlan Zhengfa No. 38): Bancheng town was agreed to merge the original 58 administrative villages into 50. The adjustment plan is as follows: 1. Qiannanzhuang, zhongnanzhuang, hounanzhuang and Xinanzhuang are merged into Nanzhuang, and the office is located in zhongnanzhuang; 2. Qiandahaobu and zhongdahaobu are merged into qiandahaobu, and the office is located in qiandahaobu; 3. Qiansungou, zhongsungou and housungou are merged into sungou, and the office is located in zhongsungou; 4. Qianshatingyu and xishatingyu are merged into qianshatingyu 5. Liujiayu and weijiayu are merged into Liuwei new village, and the office is located in liujiayu; the scale of other administrative villages remains unchanged.

In November 2011, shanshuikou village, Xiaohu village and xiaoliuwang village of Wanggou town were put under the jurisdiction of Bancheng town.
