On May 18, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Leshan City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Ebian Yi Autonomous County and Mabian Yi Autonomous County (cfzm [2020] No. 3): Shiliang Township and Laodong Township were abolished and Laodong town was established. The administrative areas of Laodong town were yuanshiliang Township, yuanlaodong Township, longtuogou village and zhenzhuqiao village in Xiaxi town, No. 150, group 1, Jinxing village, Laodong Town People's government.
Evolution of organizational system
In 2020, Shiliang Township and Laodong township will be abolished and Laodong town will be established. The administrative areas of Laodong town will be the original Shiliang Township and Laodong Township, as well as the administrative areas of longtuogou village and zhenzhuqiao village in Xiaxi town. The people's Government of Laodong town will be located at No. 150, group 1, Jinxing village.
