Xingnong Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Jidong County, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northwest of Jidong county and the north side of Muling, bordering Donghai town in the East, Didaohe Township, Didao District, Jixi City in the south, Qingshan Township, Linkou County in the west, and Tieshan Township, Qiezihe District, Qitaihe City in the north, with an administrative area of 97.37 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, the population of registered residence in Xing Nong town was 9097. As of October 2019, Xingnong town has three communities and nine administrative villages.

History of construction
During the Japanese puppet period, it belonged to Jining county.
In 1947, it was named Xingnong.
In August 1949, it belonged to 11 districts of Jixi County.
In February 1958, it was transferred to Boli County; in March of the same year, it set up Xingnong commune in Boli County.
In 1965, it was assigned to Jidong county.
In 1984, it was changed to Xingnong township.
In 1996, the township was transformed into a town.
