brief introduction
Jiuzihe town has a long history and rich cultural heritage. It is dotted with famous mountains and rivers. It is surrounded by Jiuzihe. It used to be the capital of Jiuzi in the spring and Autumn period.
Jiuzi Kingdom (475-570 BC) more than 2600 years ago, Jiuzi was a small country, which was a small country with Yan surname and was caught between Wu and Chu. The capital of Yingshan and Luotian is Jiuzihe town. In 570 BC, when Chu was the king of the Communist Party of Chu, the state of Chu ordered Yin Zi to attack the state of Wu and annexed the state of Jiuzi. From then on, it became a small town on the border of Chu. It is said that both Jiu and Qunshu are descendants of gaotao. The capital of the country is now Jiuzihe Town, Luotian County, Hubei Province.
Jiuzi is the change of Jiuzi. Up to now, there are still some stone carvings left by ancient Jiuzi. (this is not a stone carving more than 2000 years ago, but a later local chronicler Wang Baoxin. Wang Baoxin was born at the end of the Qing Dynasty, and this stone carving is less than 200 years old. The so-called ancient refers to the ancient of jiuci, not the ancient inscribed. At that time, the stone carving must have been located at a higher place on the river bank, but now half of it has been immersed in the water. It seems that the river bed has been raised a lot.
In the history of Jiuzihe, there are many famous people. Yu Sansheng, the three most popular members of the Yu School of Peking Opera, came out of the mountain from qiniangshan village of Jiuzihe Town, followed the Hui troupe to Beijing, and integrated Hui opera and Han Opera into Peking Opera. He was named the number one performer by Emperor Jiajing of Qing Dynasty and became one of the founders of Peking Opera. During the war of liberation, Liu Deng's army leaped into the Dabie Mountains thousands of miles, and took Jiuzi River as its base, leaving many glorious footprints on more than 200 square kilometers of land. Up to now, Jiuzihe has a simple folk custom and unique culture. Dongqiang opera, fange opera, dragon and lion dance, shadow play, boxing and other ancient customs of Beijing opera can still be seen everywhere. The original ecological song and dance "singing in the Dabie Mountains" choreographed by local actors has been successfully put on the stage and performed normally in the scenic spot, becoming a major scenic spot of Luotian tourism.
Historical evolution
Jiuzihe Town, also known as Jiuzi ancient town, is known as a millennium old town, with more than 2400 years of official administration. According to the research of Wang Baoxin, a famous modern local chronicler, during the Warring States period (475-570 BC), the ancestors established the state of Jiuzihe. More than 2600 years ago, "Jiuzi" was a small country, a small country with Yan surname, which was sandwiched between Wu and Chu.
In the last year of the Yuan Dynasty (the eleventh year of Zhizheng reign), Xu Shouhui built an uprising in Tiantangzhai in May 1351. Seeing that the time had come, Xu Shouhui, who was dissatisfied with the rule of the Yuan Dynasty, together with Zou Pusheng, a blacksmith in Macheng, Peng yingyu, a monk in Yichun County, Jiangxi Province, and others, promoted the idea of "the world is in chaos, Maitreya Buddha is about to be born" in Eastern Hubei. In August of the same year, Xu Shouhui went to many places where the main peak of Dabie Mountain is located Yunshanzhuang, or heaven village, launched an uprising, and Xu Shouhui was hailed as the leader. At the same time, they all believed in Maitreya, burning incense and gathering people, also known as "incense army".
In 1646, Wang Ding, the former Jianjun army of Henan Province in Ming Dynasty, who had settled in hulunao on the Bank of Luotian River in his hometown, went out of the mountain to organize an anti Qing rebel army. He was granted the title of minister of the Ministry of war by Emperor Yongli and the governor Fengyang rebel army. With Tiantangzhai as the center, Wang directed the volunteers to fight in more than ten counties of Hubei, Henan and Anhui provinces for four or five years, which made Tiantangzhai famous.
In 1752, farmer Ma Chaozhu launched an uprising of the white lotus sect in Tiantangzhai.
From 1859 to 1864, Tiantangzhai became a strategic place for the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom army to compete with the Qing army and the militia. Hu Linyi, the governor of Huguang, said of this mountain at that time: "if you can consolidate Hubei Province in the interior and Anhui Province in the exterior, if you manage it vigorously and keep it well, then you will have the power of not taking chenhuo at ordinary times, and you will be able to gain a strategic position temporarily, and the central government will be able to carry out its own business, which will bring endless benefits.". In modern times, during the period of the new democratic revolution, the Red Army, the Anti Japanese guerrillas, the New Fourth Army and the people's Liberation Army under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, such as Gao Junting, Zhang tixue, Liu Min and Liao Peng, often went to Tiantangzhai to fight flexibly.
In 1947, the world-famous army of Liu and Deng leaped into the Dabie Mountains, which opened the prelude to the strategic attack. Tiantangzhai is also an important activity area.
In 1948, Liu Deng's headquarters was transferred to Jiuzihe. In March, Chen Xilian and Yan Hongyan presided over the Jiuzihe meeting to study and adhere to the strategic deployment of the Dabie mountain base.
Because it is located in the main area of Hubei and Anhui, with high mountains and dangerous land, there was an inspection department Yamen in the Ming Dynasty and a thousand general Yamen in the Qing Dynasty. In modern times, the revolutionary army of workers and peasants and the army of Liu and Deng had been here.
