Desheng Town

Desheng Town, formerly known as linkan, is located 25 km north of Luzhou City and 10 km south of Luxian county. Gangcheng Avenue, 219 provincial road, heniu Road, Fushi Road, South Sichuan intercity railway, under construction luyong Expressway and proposed Ludong Avenue crisscross. The market town is 2 km away from Gangcheng Avenue and 7 km away from Niutan exit of Longna expressway. Evolution of organizational system

Before 1935, Desheng Town was called linkan; linkan was an ancient post station. There was a place named jieguanba in linkan post station, which was a place where ancient Luzhou officials went out of the city for 60 miles to meet their superiors. Desheng Town is a hilly and low mountainous area with undulating terrain. The ground elevation is 218-757.7m, and the relative elevation difference is 539.7m, accounting for 90.5% of the total.

The main geomorphic type is wind erosion, followed by river cutting. The most widely distributed mountain terrain is the Middle Jurassic Shaximiao Formation of Mesozoic, and the Quaternary soil layer is sporadically distributed in the River Ridge floodplain and beach. The lithology is composed of dark purple silty mudstone intercalated with argillaceous siltstone of the same color, intercalated with unstable feldspar quartz sandstone, belonging to the area of fine-grained mud red bed, with soft broken and strong weathering.
