Jianzhatan Township
The registered residence of Jianzha beach is located in Jianzha County, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai province. It is located in the southern part of the county. It is connected with the east of the county and the township of Huangnan. It is located in the southeast with the Ma Ba County in Tongren County. It is adjacent to Lanzi and Huang Nai Hai Township in Tongren County. The West and North are bordered by Changmu Town, Guide County, Hainan. In 2018, the area was 522.03 square kilometers and the household registration population was 7574.
It was originally the territory of Xiang Qian, one of the eight villages of Angla. In April 1952, it was under the jurisdiction of Jianzha County Working Committee, and the second district was established. Later, it was transformed into qiazang Township, and the Yangrong brigade of yuandangshun township was assigned to qiazang township. In 1958, it was changed into a commune. In 1984, it was changed to township. As of October 2019, jianzhatan has jurisdiction over one community and seven village (animal husbandry) committees.
In 2018, there were two industrial enterprises in jianzhatan township.
Historical evolution
According to historical records, during the Tubo Period, the general guarding Jianzha area was called "lajianba". The descendants of lajianba and other relatives ruled this area for a long time. In Jianzha, "Zha" means "descendants" in Tibetan, so this area was named "Jianzha". There is a big beach in Jianzha area, which is called Jianzha beach.
