Shifo Township, the original administrative division of Qu county, Sichuan Province. Located in the northeast of Quxian County, Sichuan Province, on the West Bank of Bahe River, 28 kilometers away from the county. It has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages with a population of 13000. In 2004, the system of Shifo township was abolished and merged into Sanhui town.

Shifo township is located in the northeast of Quxian County, on the West Bank of Bahe River, 28 kilometers away from the county. In 1996, it covers an area of 17 square kilometers and has a population of 13000. It governs eight administrative villages, namely Dadong, guantian, Xinsheng, Nanbei, Bolin, Xiangtan, fangbei and Sanxi.

Historical evolution

Shifo township was established in 1940, commune in 1958 and township in 1984. In 2004, Shifo township was abolished and merged into Sanhui town.
