Xian'an town

Xianan town is located in the east coast of Huilai County, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province. It borders Zhoutian town in the west, Jinghai Town in the south, Chaonan District of Shantou City in the northeast and Nanhai in the East. The town covers an area of 83.56 square kilometers, with a coastline of 8.7 kilometers. Xianan town government office is located in tazipu, Jinglong village, 24 kilometers away from Huicheng. The town is a coastal hilly terrain, back to the mountain and facing the sea, the north is mountainous, the highest peak jingangji (commonly known as jingongguo), 436 meters above sea level, the position is prominent, which is the natural direction sign for fishing boats to enter and leave the sea.

The total area of mountains and hills in the town accounts for 75%, and farmland accounts for 24.5%. The whole town has a subtropical monsoon climate with high temperature and rainy weather. The annual average temperature is 21.8 ℃ and the rainfall is abundant. The annual average rainfall is 1829 mm. However, the annual variation is large and the spatial and temporal distribution is uneven. It is easy to produce spring drought, summer waterlogging and typhoons in summer and autumn.

Xianan town has 1 residents committee (Xianzhong), 20 villagers committees and 32 natural villages, namely Xianan (New Village), Dongpu (Hongqiao Village), Huaqing, Tianlong (xianzhai and xiannei Village), Lihang (Lihu Village), Xizhuang, Fushan, koupu, Xixi (Xuedi Village), Sishi, Dingxi and simii (Xitang village, zhainei, Baizhai and Pingpu) In addition, it also has the following functions: first, shicuo Township, Qiaoguan, Jinglong, Dianpu, Tanghua, Fupu (Xintian, wengcuo Township and lincuo Village), Huayuan (Kecuo and Tangbian Village), ningzhai and wangqian.

Cultivated land: at the end of 2006, the town had 23988 mu of cultivated land, including 12723 mu of paddy field, 11265 mu of dry garden, 34244 mu of mountainous area and 22000 mu of sandy land.

Reservoir: there is one medium-sized reservoir, Dingxi reservoir, with a catchment area of 18.4 square kilometers and a storage capacity of 21.12 million cubic meters.

There are three small (1) reservoirs, namely Xuedi reservoir, huadinghu reservoir and Qianwu reservoir.

There are 8 small (2) reservoirs, namely kengni reservoir, niumuling reservoir, shibiling reservoir, kulugudinhu reservoir, hounantian reservoir, huludu reservoir, hubengkeng reservoir and Wuyan reservoir.

Shen Shan expressway runs through the territory from west to East. Xian'an section of Shen Shan expressway is 12 km long, and there is expressway entrance and exit in the town. Kuihe provincial highway runs through the territory from west to East, with the total length of Xianan section of Kuihe line of 10.8 km; Huixian highway runs through the territory from south to north, with the total length of Xianan section of Huixian highway of 8.6 km. In addition, all villages have village roads connecting Kuihe line or Huixian highway, and Jinglong village connects Huixian highway, xiannei village connects Huixian highway, and Village Road realizes highway cementation.

Fixed line telephone has been popularized to all villages in the town. China Mobile and China Unicom have set up signal transfer stations in Xian'an town.

economic development

In 2017, the total industrial output value of the town was 1.056 billion yuan, the investment in fixed assets was 1.266 billion yuan, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods was 678 million yuan. The national and local tax revenue of the town is 10.959 million yuan, including 4.467 million yuan of national tax revenue and 6.492 million yuan of local tax revenue.

Agriculture

In the history of agriculture, farming was the main industry, and part of the fishery was also involved.

In the planting industry, rice and sweet potato are the main food crops, peanut is the main cash crop, mustard, radish and garlic are the main vegetable crops, and litchi is the main fruit crop. In addition, tea is planted in xiannei village, and the medicinal material "golden centipede" is planted in Tanghua village.

In terms of fishing, Huaqing, Sishi, wangqian, Qiaoguan, Xizhuang, Tanghua and other coastal villages are half fishermen and half farmers, while bamboo rafts are mainly used for shallow water operations in coastal villages. In terms of aquatic products, there are sea urchins and red eggs in wangqian, Huaqing and Sishi villages, and brackish shrimp in wangqian and Sishi villages. There are freshwater fishes in Dingxi reservoir, xitangchi and Jinglong lake.

In animal husbandry, livestock are mainly raised in families. The main livestock is pigs, and a small number of cattle and sheep; the main three birds are chickens, and a small number of ducks and geese.

By 2006, the total output of grain in the town was 17181 tons (including 23000 mu of rice, 8675 tons), that of vegetables was 16900 mu, 41660 tons, that of fruits was 6390 mu, 940 tons (including 3200 mu of litchi, 400 tons), and that of aquatic products was 2535 tons (including 15950 tons of seawater and 940 tons of fresh water).

Industry

Xian'an town is a big agricultural town with poor industrial base and small total amount.

By the end of 2006, there were six large-scale industrial enterprises in the town, namely Songsheng wool weaving factory, exquisite color pen factory, Xiongtai wool weaving factory, "guimadame" Clothing Industry Co., Ltd., Xixi gas reserve center, and dajianshan quarry of Huilai Kuizhong real estate corporation.

There is a planned industrial park, namely Xian'an eco industrial park, which extends to Shenshan Expressway in the north, Golden Bay Golf Course in the East, petrochemical zone in the South and Zhenxi 2nd Road in the West. The total area of Xian'an eco industrial park is 5 square kilometers, with 2 square kilometers of development land reserved in the future. Investment guidance: focus on electronic and electrical appliances, clothing processing, logistics processing and ecological and environmental protection industries, encourage the development of warehousing and logistics processing, electronics, electrical appliances, chemical fiber, textile, clothing, green environmental protection, leisure and holiday tourism and other industries.

There are two agricultural product markets in the town, Xianan and Jinglong. There is East Guangdong Golden Bay Botanical Garden Club, which covers an area of 365.94 hectares, has nearly 5 kilometers of coastline, and has three international standard golf courses.

Established in early 1997, East Guangdong Golden Bay Botanical Garden Club Co., Ltd. is located at the entrance and exit of Shenzhen Shantou Expressway in Xian'an Town, Huilai County, Guangdong Province, with convenient transportation and close to mountains and sea.

In the summer of 1997, East Guangdong Golden Bay Club Botanical Garden Co., Ltd. cooperated with Hong Kong Zhongsheng Xingye Group Co., Ltd. to establish golf club, botanical garden, seaside club and Chaoshan folk village cultural village here, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan.

Among them, the golf club covers an area of 133 hectares, with a planned investment of 29.8 million US dollars. By 2005, 350 million yuan has been invested in golf courses and supporting facilities, and three international standard golf courses and supporting facilities have been completed.

The botanical garden plans to invest 16 million US dollars to harness the sandy land with international advanced technology. Through the introduction of plants, it plans to build an experimental base for ex situ conservation, germplasm conservation, development and utilization of more than 4000 tropical rare and endangered plants in China and a window for academic exchanges at home and abroad.

Covering an area of 100.8 hectares, the beach club plans to invest 8 million US dollars to build a bathing beach, a water sports center and a holiday rehabilitation center with a 5 km long beach.

Chaoshan folk culture village covers an area of 132.14 hectares, with a planned investment of 10 million US dollars. It is planned to build a tourist attraction displaying Chaoshan's unique folk customs and ancient culture.

In December 2005, the property right of East Guangdong Golden Bay Botanical Garden Club Co., Ltd. was transferred to Shenzhen Jiajing International Investment Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Golden Bay Co., Ltd.
