WangChengPo Street

Wangchengpo street is located in the middle of Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, 1.5km away from the municipal Party committee and municipal government, covering an area of 4.96km2. It governs 10 communities with a population of 64278 (2010).

The origin of the name

Wangchengpo used to be a hillock. It got its name because it could see the city of Changsha. There is "Wangchengpo" in Changsha Fu Zhi written by Qianlong of Qing Dynasty There is a market in the post road. As the starting section of Hunan Guizhou and Xiangchuan post road, Changsha has been a place of business and tourism for thousands of years. However, it is worth mentioning that the real Wangchengpo old street is now the Ximen community of xianjiahu street. When Wangcheng County was established in 1951, it was named after the government organs set up here. The location of Wangchengpo street is called kafangling in the past, and the location of the West bus station is called sanlilong.

Jiantang community

It was established in January 1999 by the former Jiantang village. The community is located at the northernmost end of Wangchengpo street, adjacent to Yuelu avenue of the second ring road in the East, Jingui road in the south, Xiangyi community (former Xiangyi General Factory) in the west, and Qingshan village and Yaotang village in the north. The former nuclear industry No.716 mine, which was built in Ningxiang County in 1964, was relocated to Yuelu District in 2002. In 2005, it was closed by policy and ended in bankruptcy. Jinxing Avenue crosses the community and connects with the second ring road. Wangxin road is the main road of the whole community, with convenient transportation, shady trees and beautiful environment. In 2001, it was transferred from Wangcheng County to Wangchengpo street of Yuelu District, and a community neighborhood committee was established on the basis of Dongsheng welfare factory. Wanglu community has 387 residents and 186 households. At present, there are 92 disabled people, including 7 physically disabled, 80 visually disabled, 5 speech and hearing disabled, and 15 party members directly in charge of the community. Nanjiatang community

Established on December 9, 2014, the office building is located in the south of the West Bus Station of Hexi transportation hub, and put into use in July 2014, with a total area of about 1200 square meters. The community covers an area of 0.8 square kilometers from the second ring road in the East, Nanyuan Road in the west, Meixi Lake in the South and Fenglin third road in the north. Xiangyi community

Founded on July 16, 1999, adjacent to tongzipo West Road, xianjiahu West Road and Lutian Road, it is the gateway of Changsha high tech Industrial Development Zone.
