Gushan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Haicheng City, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Haicheng City, adjacent to Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County in the East, Dashiqiao City in Yingkou in the south, Chagou town and Ximu town in the northwest, with an administrative area of 203.6 square kilometers.
Before 1987, it was called Gushan commune in Haicheng; in 2003, it was renamed Gushan town after abolishing Manchu town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Gushan town was 24268. As of June 2020, Gushan town has 12 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Gushan town was 32.4 million yuan. In 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises in Gushan Town, including one above scale and 35 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Before 1987, it was called Gushan commune in Haicheng.
In January 1987, the township was removed to build a town, and GUSHAN Manchu town was established.
In 2002, Yushu village was merged into Xiyao village.
In 2003, Manchu town was abolished and renamed Gushan town.

Xianren cave in Xiaogushan is located in the south of Gushanzi Town, 45 kilometers southeast of Haicheng City. There is a well preserved natural cave on the north side of Xiaogushan, which is called "Xianren cave" by local people. In 1980, the Anshan cultural relics survey team excavated fossils of paleontology, stone tools, bone ware and pottery pieces nearby. It has been identified that Xianren cave is the "former residence" of ancient human beings 40000 years ago. The geological age is the late Pleistocene and the archaeological age is the late Paleolithic. More than ten thousand artifacts were unearthed from the site, second to the ancient ape man site in Zhoukoudian, Beijing, ranking second in the same period.
Baiyun Mountain in Haicheng is a national AAA tourist area. It is located about 45 kilometers to the east of Haicheng City, with a total area of 38.3 square kilometers. It is divided into eight scenic spots and 450 peaks. It is famous for its strange peaks, strange rocks and dense forests. Baiyun Mountain is one of the cradles of Haicheng river. There are more than 30 gullies and more than 800 species of North China flora.
The main scenic spot is located at the junction of baiyuntao village and baijiadong village, with a total area of 450000 square kilometers. Tangmaoshan, a high mountain in Haicheng, is 876 meters above sea level, located in the east of the scenic spot. The legendary White Ape cave is located at the top of tangmao mountain. To enter the cave, you need to climb a section of stone steps with a total of 85 degrees and a total of 75 steps. Above the cave, there is a man-made White Ape Dazuo three steps. The stone pedestal goes south from the top of the mountain. Sitting on it, people close their eyes slightly and feel like flying in the air. There are many peaks and gullies on the East and west sides and the north side of the White Ape cave. When you climb the mountain and look into the distance, there are many mountains and hills around. The peaks are beautiful, as if you are in a fairyland. There are more than 900 kinds of trees, flowers and plants on the mountain, including Magnolia tiannv, kiwifruit, Ganoderma lucidum, Schisandra chinensis, ginseng and other precious plants under national and provincial key protection. There are also owls, woodpeckers, wild boars, foxes, roe deer and other wild animals. This area has been listed as the nature reserve of Haicheng City.
