Wulannaoer town
Wulannur Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Wuda District, Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the north of Wuda District. It is adjacent to the Yellow River in the East and the Binhe street of Haibowan district across the river, adjacent to Binhai street in the south, intersecting Suhaitu street and liangjiagou Street in the west, and connected to WuSitai town of Alxa Left Banner, Alxa League in the north, with an administrative area of 78.22 square kilometers.
In March 1990, the office of heguaizi development zone was established; in May of the same year, it was changed into the Preparatory Office of Wulan township; in November 1991, Wulan township was established; in April 2006, Wulan Township and Qiaoxi town were merged into wulannaoer town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Ulan Nur town was 3740. As of June 2020, wulannaoer town has two communities under its jurisdiction.
In 2018, there were two industrial enterprises and one comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters in wulannaoer town.
History of construction
In 1989, Bayin Oboo, huhebrege and Ulan arile of wusutumu in Alxa Left Banner were assigned to the state-owned farms in Wuda District. In the same year, Wuhai City and YIKEZHAO League agreed to move nearly 1000 people from gongqirika, Bayin Taohai, mukanai and other townships in Etuoke Banner of former YIKEZHAO League to form the South and North villages of state-owned farms in Wuda District.
In March 1990, the office of heguaizi development zone was set up; in May of the same year, it was changed into the Preparatory Office of Wulan township.
In November 1991, Wulan township was established.
In April 2006, Wulan Township and Qiaoxi town were merged into wulannaoer town.
