Santiaoxian Township

Santiaoxian Township, belonging to Yongjing County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the eastern mountainous area of Yongjing County, bordering Xuding Township in the East, Lintao County of Dingxi City in the southeast, Taohe River in the south, Dongxiang Autonomous County in the south, Liujiaxia town in the West and chenjing town in the north. The area is 157.9 square kilometers. In 2018, 5469 people registered residence.

From 1929 to 1949, it belonged to fengle Township, Gaolan county. In 1957, it belonged to Xigu District of Gaolan county. In 1958, it was transferred to Yongjing county. After 1961, it belonged to Liujiaxia, chenjing, Xuding and Guanshan communes. In November 1980, santiaoxian commune was established. In 1983, it was changed into santiaoxian township. In October 2019, santiaoxian governs six administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises in santiaoxian Township and 9 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
