Liujiagou town is located in the northwest of Yantai city and the east end of Penglai, a fairyland on earth. It is 13 kilometers away from Penglai Pavilion in the west, adjacent to the national agricultural high-tech industry demonstration zone in the south, Penglai Economic Development Zone in the north and Chaoshui town in the East. The town has a total area of 101.7 square kilometers, cultivated land area of 66000 mu, 60 administrative villages and a population of 31000; the coastline is 2.5 kilometers long, and the town government is located in Liujiagou village.
