Yanghe Town, Huaying City, Sichuan Province is located under pianyanzi of Huaying mountains, near Hongyan Township in the East, Gaoxing town in the south, Linxi town in Yuechi in the West and Guqiao sub district office in the north, covering an area of 39.59 square kilometers and 8.5 kilometers away from the city. It has 10 villagers' committees, 1 residents' committee and 73 villagers' groups, with a total population of 19975 (2017).

History of construction

In the Zhou Dynasty, it was a dependency of the state of Ba.

In the Qin Dynasty, it belonged to Dianjiang County (today's Hechuan county), from the Qin Dynasty to the Sui Dynasty.

In the Tang Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Xinming County, and it still belonged to it from the Tang Dynasty to the Song Dynasty.

In the Yuan Dynasty, in the 20th year of the Yuan Dynasty (A.D. 1283), the province entered Yuechi in the new Ming Dynasty, and Yanghe was under the jurisdiction of Yuechi County.

In the Ming Dynasty, because of this. In the seventh year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1668 A.D.), the province merged Yuechi into Guang'an Prefecture, and Yanghe was under the jurisdiction of Guang'an Prefecture; in the 60th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1721 A.D.), Yuechi County was restored, and Yanghe was still under the jurisdiction of Shutai Yili, zima Township, Yuechi County.

In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940 AD), Gaoyang township was established, and Yanghe was under the jurisdiction of Gaoyang township.

It was originally named yanghuochang. Later, a river was built behind it and changed to yanghechang. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, it was changed from "River" to "harmony", so it was named.

In 1942, it was divided into Gaoyang Township, Yanghe Township and Yanghe field.

On January 10, 1950, the people's Government of Yuechi County was established. In October, 1958, the people's commune of Yanghe township was established; in 1966, gengyingguang people's commune was established; in 1968, the Revolutionary Committee of Yingguang commune was established; in 1969, the Revolutionary Committee of Yanghe commune was restored.

On November 10, 1978, it was transferred to Huaying industrial and agricultural demonstration zone.

In December 1980, the Township Reform Committee was changed to Yanghe Township Management Committee.

In 1984, the government and society were separated and renamed Yanghe Township People's government.

In 1992, Yanghe town was established, and some villages of Sansheng Township and Guqiao Township were merged. So far, Yanghe town has jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages (Yanghe, loufanggou, Shuangbei, Caijiawan, Zhaojiagou, zhujiaba, dingjiaba, Confucian temple, gelongshan, Sanchahe, Yanjinggou, pianyanzi, Guancheng, Zhonghe, Jixing, Heba, nanmu, longshanzhai), 1 neighborhood committee (Yanghe Street neighborhood committee), and 137 communities.

Development status

In 2015, Yanghe town of Huaying City was recognized as "Sichuan rural tourism demonstration town". Yanghe town has convenient transportation. Every village has roads. Xiangyu railway runs through the whole town from north to south, and Guangxi highway passes through the town. Climate and environment

Climate: subtropical humid monsoon climate in Sichuan Basin. Annual average temperature: the average temperature in mountainous area is 11.3 ℃, and that in Pingba and hilly area is 17.6 ℃.

Soil: all kinds of rock strata are exposed from the Quaternary Holocene to Cambrian in the territory. The eastern mountainous area is yellow soil area, and the central and Western Pingba and hilly areas are purple soil area.

Mineral resources: more than 20 kinds of proven minerals include coal, limestone, sulfur, iron, copper, molybdenum, magnesium, gypsum, marble, rare elements germanium, baht, strontium, and radon rich metasilicate springs.

Water resources: the main rivers are Yangxi River and biaoshui River, which are rich in underground resources. Pianyanzi mineral water has a large flow and contains many trace elements, which is of great development value.

Vegetation resources: the main vegetation coverage rate is 69%, and the forest coverage rate in Pingba is 36%.

Wild animal and plant resources: there are thousands of wild invertebrates, including vertebrates, 186 species in five classes of fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals, and rare wild animals such as leopard, red fox and badger. There are more than 100 species of wild plants, such as pine, cypress, Chinese fir, camphor wood, big head tea, ginkgo, etc.; there are more than 700 species of wild medicinal plants, such as Gastrodia elata, Sophora flavescens, Panax notoginseng, Eucommia ulmoides, chrysanthemum indicum, Actinidia chinensis, Galla chinensis, Polygonum multiflorum, etc.
