Wugou Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Zhenyuan County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Zhenyuan County, adjacent to Maqu Township and Miaoqu Township in the East, kaibian town in the south, Guoyuan Township in the West and Mengyuan Township in Pengyang County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the north, with a total administrative area of 148.73 square kilometers.
In 1959, heiqukou commune was established; in 1972, Wugou commune was renamed; in December 1983, Wugou commune was changed to township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Wu Gou township was 12707. In June 2020, Wugou rural area has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages.

In 1959, heiqukou commune was established.
