Beijing Yanqi Economic Development Zone

Beijing Yanqi Economic Development Zone was established in 1992 and approved by the State Council in July 2006. It has become one of the 19 reserved development zones in Beijing, with a total planning area of 1493 hectares, including "one district and two parks". "One zone" refers to Beijing Yanqi Economic Development Zone, "two parks" refers to Jingwei Park and Fengxiang Park of Beijing Yanqi Economic Development Zone.

Beijing Yanqi Economic Development Zone is located in Huairou District of Beijing, at the foot of the great wall and the Bank of Yanqi lake. It is 50km away from the urban area of Beijing and 30km away from the Capital International Airport.

By the end of 2006, Yanqi development zone had attracted a total investment of 8.39 billion yuan and employed more than 10000 people. Beijing Yanqi Economic Development Zone is located 5 kilometers north of Huairou District, 55 kilometers away from Beijing urban area, 35 kilometers away from capital airport and 170 kilometers away from Tianjin port. National roads 101 and 111, Beijing Chengde Expressway and Beijing Chengde, Beijing Tongde and Daqin railways pass through the Development Zone, starting from the Fourth Ring Road of Beijing, and driving along Beijing Chengde expressway for 25 minutes.

Established in 1992, Beijing Yanqi Economic Development Zone has four zones A, B, C and D, covering an area of 13.12 square kilometers.
