Qian'an town

The name of the old town. See Yongshun street and Xing'an Street for details. Qian'an town is located in the urban area of Qian'an. It has 6 party working committees, 98 administrative villages, 543 households, 152126 people and a total area of 133.2 square kilometers. It is the political, economic, cultural and traffic center of Qian'an city.

Historical evolution

Lizhi county was set up in the 26th year of the reign of the king of Qin (221 BC), and Qian'an county was renamed in the seventh year of Jin Dading (1167 AD).

Hongqi commune was established in 1958;

Chengguan town and Chengguan commune were established in 1961.

In 1984, kaizhuang village and Chengguan commune of maojiawa commune were merged into Chengguan Town, and the town government was stationed in Nancheng road of Chengguan.

In 1988, Chengguan Town, with an area of 21.77 square kilometers and a population of 22500, governed 28 administrative villages and 33 natural villages.

In June 1988, it was renamed Qian'an town.

In November 1989, the four townships of Hongzhuang, dingguanying, maojiawa and xilipu were abolished, and their administrative areas were merged into Qian'an Town, and the four townships were renamed administrative areas.
