Chewu town
Chewu Town, subordinate to Chunhua County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the central and southern part of Chunhua County. It is adjacent to Chengguan town in the East, Shiqiao Town in the south, Majia town in the West and run town in the north. The total area is 98.82 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, chewu town has seven administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence of Che Wu town was 11300. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of chewu town reached 286.55 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 40.45 million yuan.
Historical evolution
At the beginning, the village was named "chewu village" by the surnames of Che and Wu, and then the homonym evolved into "chewu village". Because the people's Government of the town was stationed in the village, it got the name of the town.
In 1933, it belonged to the first township of a district.
In 1935, Baojia was compiled and checked. Dadian Township belonged to County town.
In the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), it belonged to the county and town Er Bao Gong office.
In 1950, Chengguan District was established.
In 1958, it belonged to the happy commune.
In 1961, chewu commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed to chewu township.
In 2011, chewu town was formed by the merger of Dadian Township and chewu township.

By the end of 2011, chewu town had 16 administrative villages including Juji, Hecun, nanhutong, chewu, xiancang, Longhu, qiwunan, Guixiang, zhujiaping, Bacun, Majiapo, Dadian, Xinzhuang, mouzhuang, gouquan and Mengzhuang, and 75 villager groups.
